In the process of working towards your dream, you’re going to experience a lot of failure, a lot of struggle and pain, and a lot of disappointment. Many moments will come when you doubt yourself or ask “why me?” or “why is this so hard?” or “why should I even bother?” Difficult times will come, and, they will pass. Do not give up on yourself or your dream, because each and every single one of us has a gift, a story, an experience, or a service to give to enrich our communities, our nation, and our world.
Stop complaining about your life and your circumstances and start taking inspired and committed action, that one first step, and then the next, and then the next after that. Make self-awareness and self-growth the objective, not the success, fame, or money. Keep pushing yourself and keeping working on yourself. Be a risk taker. Don’t allow fear to hold its grip on you in the confines of your comfort zone, use love as the motivator. Forget about that voice saying, “what if I fail?” or “what if I am not cut out for this?”. Spend time alone, get to know yourself more deeply, and give yourself the time you deserve to really get to know the real you inside. Stop striving for everyone else’s approval, it doesn’t matter anyways because their opinion does not need to become your reality. Be unique, be different, be you! Define YOUR worth and YOUR values!
Everyone won’t agree with you, and, they don’t need to and that’s okay. Align yourself with the people who are unstoppable, the people who take responsibility, the risk takers, the dreamers, and the people who won’t settle for mediocrity. If you want to chase your dreams, keep chasing them, and if you want to live and breathe your dreams wholeheartedly, you have to step up, take charge, invest in yourself, and own it. You have the choice to not live your life as a victim, you have the choice to tell yourself a different story, and you have the choice to believe in yourself even when others may not. When you become who you were born to be, everyone else’s opinion doesn’t bother you because you are in full alignment with your values. This is your life, this is your dream, and it is up to you! You can make it, you will make it, and the only question is, when will you be willing?
